Parks Brown is a native of Austin, Texas and a sixth generation Texan. A cum laude graduate of St. Mary’s University School of Law, Parks served as Articles Editor and was named Editor of the Year for the St. Mary’s Law Journal.  He also served as judicial intern to Judge Edward C. Prado of the United States Court of Appeals for the Fifth Circuit. Following graduation from Washington & Lee University, Parks spent six years working as an oil and gas landman throughout Colorado, New Mexico and Utah. He enjoys all aspects of balancing energy production with the preservation of agricultural and ranching properties.
